Now in its 62nd year, the Australian Export Awards is one of the country’s most prestigious and longest-running business awards programs. Since 1963, it has recognised the contributions of more than 2,000 Australian businesses that have achieved international success in a broad range of sectors.
Senator the Hon. Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism, said this year’s export award winners showcase the very best of our export community.
“I congratulate all winners across the 13 categories and recognise the 88 outstanding national finalists who are winners in their home state or territory.
The calibre of finalists this year was exceptional, collectively employing more than 24,300 people and generating more than $7.8 billion in export earnings in the last financial year. Over half of this year’s finalists are small businesses with an annual turnover of less than $10 million.
These businesses contribute to our shared economic success and prosperity, both in our local communities and the broader economy, for the benefit of all Australians.”
At the awards, Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive Ben Lazzaro presented the Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Award to TNA Solutions, a global food processing and packaging manufacturer.
On receiving the prestigious award, TNA’s Managing Director and Co-founder, Alf Taylor, said TNA Solutions takes great pride in bringing Australian manufacturing to the world.
