2024 Australian Defence Industry Awards winner & 2024 Most Innovative Manufacturers Awards winner

Awarded Sovereign Capabilities Champion of the Year at the Australian Defence Industry Awards, Amiga Engineering is an innovative business in the additive manufacturing space, producing gearboxes, aerators and other components. Amiga Engineering also won Top 10 Gold in @AuManufacturing’s 50 Most Innovative Manufacturers, recognising its pursuit of excellence in the manufacturing industry.

 

Artisans Bespoke Jewellers
2024 Australian Opal Awards winner

Artisans Bespoke Jewellers won the Open Prestige category at this year’s Australian Opal Awards for its handcrafted ring named ‘Khroma’. The ring took over 80 hours and features an intricate design and stone arrangement. Since 2006, the Artisans Bespoke Jewellers team has created their bespoke art deco-inspired jewellery in Brisbane.

2024 Most Innovative Manufacturers Awards winner

Winning Top 10 Gold in @AuManufacturing’s 50 Most Innovative Manufacturers, BlockTexx’s revolutionary technology recovers polyester and cellulose from textiles and clothing. The recovered materials – PolyTexx and CellTexx – can be used in injection moulding, building products, textile, agricultural and manufacturing industries.

2024 Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design Awards winner

Winner of the Outside of the Box category at the 2024 PIDA Awards, bouncee is the first reusable alternative to single-use insulated packaging that is developed, designed and made in Australia. The bouncee system is collapsible, protects perishables from damage and maintains required temperatures to keep goods fresh.

2024 ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards winner

After just 18 months of exporting overseas, HiveIQ was awarded ACT Exporter of the Year and Emerging Exporter for the success of its advanced beehives products. The well-insulated HiveIQ beehives are made in Canberra from high-density polystyrene, and last up to 25 years.

2024 Clean + Conscious Awards winner

First Nations brand Kamara Australia won Silver in the Best Sustainable Swimwear category for its ONYX One Piece swimsuit. Offering 50+ UPF protection, the long-sleeve swimsuit is made in Australia with regenerated nylon and is lined with fabric created from recycled plastic bottles.

2024 Clean + Conscious Awards winner

Winning Gold in the Best Natural Laundry Detergent / Bathroom Product category, the Laundry Stain Spray from Koala Eco is a gentle and effective stain remover. 2024 Assistive Technology Suppliers Australia Awards winner

Magic Mobility’s new XT4 power wheelchair was awarded Australian Innovative Product of the Year at the 2024 ASTA Awards. The XT4 off-road power wheelchair features innovations in suspension, traction, steering and battery range, allowing users to confidently access extreme off-road environments in safety and comfort.

2024 Clean + Conscious Awards winner

Sharpe Engineering
2024 Family Business Association Excellence Awards winner

The Established Family Business Award was won by Sharpe Engineering, a second-generation Queensland business leading innovation in Australian manufacturing. Established in 1995 by the Sharpe family, Sharpe Engineering offerings include defence, rail, hard rock mining, and specialised manufacturing.

2024 Most Innovative Manufacturers Awards winner

Winning Top 10 Gold in @AuManufacturing’s 50 Most Innovative Manufacturers, Sleeptite is an aged care product developer and manufacturer. Sleeptite’s Voyager Shield mattress is made in Sydney and includes CompriShield, “a natural antimicrobial solution that delivers efficient protection against mould, mildew, dust mites and odour.”

2024 Naturally Good Awards winner

Launching just this year, Tulita was awarded Best New Brand at this year’s Naturally Good Awards. Tulita’s natural fragrances are made in Melbourne from locally sourced ingredients including flowers, plants, bark and plant roots, and come in plastic-free, reusable packaging.
