Australian Made has teamed up with Australian basketball legend Andrew Gaze on its latest campaign to encourage Australian makers and growers to leverage their Australian advantage and use the Australian Made logo when exporting overseas.
As an NBA champion, two-time NBL champion and five-time Olympian, Gaze is heralded as one of the greatest Australian basketballers of all time.
Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive Ben Lazzaro said, “We were thrilled to work with Gazey on this campaign. His success at home and abroad makes him a great fit to represent the Australian Made logo and its significance to consumers, both domestically and overseas”.
The campaign creative encourages Australian brands how to succeed and use the logo to bolster their performance in export markets by inviting them to join team Australian Made. It also reminds current licensees to maximise the use of the logo when exporting.
“We know that often consumers are motivated to buy Australian Made products due to their quality, reputation, ethical standards and sustainability. Therefore, branding your products with the logo gives your business the ultimate advantage. It helps to make the Aussie connection instantly and clearly,” said Lazzaro.
Having launched off the back of Australian Made’s successful Australian Made Week campaign, the export initiative runs across social media and radio until 3 July.
