The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) Foundation’s annual Australian-made Ag Bag is a fan favourite at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show.
For just $25, the 2022 RASF Ag Bag provides over $70 worth of great products and supports regional and rural NSW communities, with all funds raised injected into the RASF Community Futures Grant program.
One fan of this year’s bag was HRH Princess Anne, who stopped by the stand on Saturday to learn more about the RAS Foundation and the Australian-made and Australian-owned companies featured.
RAS Foundation Manager Cecilia Logan said the Princess Royal was delighted with her bag - even pulling out the pooper-scooper donated by Australian Made licensee Oz-Pets!
Promoted as the ‘bag that gives back’, profits from the Ag Bag will help to support RAS Foundation projects in Inverell, Bellingen, Cooma, Crookwell, Grenfell, Tullamore, Ungarie and Wagga Wagga to the value of $154,000.
This year, products were kindly donated by SunRice, Australian Wine Selector Magazine, Manildra, Kurrajong Kitchen, Carmen’s Kitchen, Rinoldi’s Vetta Pasta, Royston Petrie Seeds, Maxiblock, Karma, Albury Enviro Bags, Oz-Pet, Billy B and Bega.
If you are interested in participating in next year’s Ag Bag, please contact the RAS Foundation on foundation@rasf.org.au. To find out more, please visit rasnsw.com.au/foundation/
