The 2019 Australian Football League (AFL) season is set to kick off on Thursday 21 March. To celebrate a new year of football the Australian Made Campaign is pleased to announce its involvement in two milestone AFL matches taking place in the forthcoming season.
On Sunday the 5th of May in Round 7 the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo (AMAG logo) will feature as part of the AFL’s Country Game, an initiative established by football legend Kevin Sheedy to bring attention to the important role that regional and rural communities play in the success and prosperity of the AFL.
Essendon and Geelong football clubs will battle it out at the Melbourne Cricket Ground at 3:20 PM AEST. Fans will be treated to the Country Festival, including a live concert, farmers’ market and field shows, bringing a taste of the country to the city at the Yarra Park precinct prior to the match.
On Sunday the 2nd of June in Round 11, the AMAG logo will feature prominently as part of the branding for ‘Shanghai 2019’, when St Kilda and Port Adelaide Football Clubs go head-to-head at Adelaide Arena, Jiangwan Stadium in China at 12:45 PM AWST.
The event will provide a platform for Australian products launching into China, where products carrying the AMAG logo are in high demand.
