Approved by HRH The Prince of Wales the Australian Made certified Dubble Trubble natural hair care and body wash collection for kids – created by philanthropic UK celebrity hair colourist Daniel Galvin Jr – lands in Woolworths stores this month.
Although initially launched in the UK in 2012, Daniel said it was a “no brainer” to ensure the Australian range was manufactured in Australia, for Australia.
Dubble Trubble not only carries the Australian Made logo, but also the HRH logo, which Daniel says help provide additional credibility to the brand and its messaging.
“These logos are about authenticity and credibility, this is everything that our products stand for,” he said.
“These logos complement our brand. Consumers are becoming savvier and want to know what is in their products and where they’re from, they’re looking for certification from trusted bodies like the organisation behind the Australian Made logo.
“I’m privileged to a licensee of the Australian Made Campaign and I like to think when I’m here, I’ll always try to be an ambassador of it.”

Having come from a dynasty of hairdressers, four generations in fact, creator Daniel Galvin Jr, whose clientele includes HRH The Prince of Wales, celebrities Ringo Starr and Robbie Williams, said he had a dual purpose for creating the Dubble Trubble brand.
First, as a means of helping disadvantaged youth, and secondly, as a response to the growing demand for an organic children’s hair care and body range without the price tag.
“We are passionate about supporting local communities and their habitats; we like to employ local people, we like to use local resources as overall it’s a much more ethical and sustainable method of operating,” he said.
After the testing phase and successful product launches in the UK, Daniel said he was pleased to discover a suitable contract organic manufacturer outside of Melbourne whose operations aligned with his vision to create Dubble Trubble as natural range free from any parabens, SLS, mineral oils, or animal ingredients.
“Australians are very passionate about organic products and all the ingredients are from here. I didn’t want to have to ship them in and have Dubble Trubble made offshore,” he said.
Proceeds of Dubble Trubble’s sales will be donated to The Princes Charities Australia – an organisation representing the charitable endeavours of HRH in Australia.
Australian Made Campaign CEO Ben Lazzaro said Australia’s high manufacturing standards in sectors including health and beauty, see the production of premium products in Australia’s pristine environment.
“In the health and beauty sector more and more consumers are looking for products made from local components,” Mr Lazzaro said.
“Trust, authenticity and quality are paramount in this sector and it’s great to see Dubble Trubble and Daniel Galvin Jr leading the way in this regard.”
