The Australian Made Campaign (AMCL) is again proud to be a supporter of the Furnishing in Focus exhibition for 2017.
The trade-only show at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre gives manufacturers a great opportunity to promote their Australian-made products in a relevant environment.
From the 4 -5 May 2017, ‘Furnishing in Focus’ will introduce Australia’s top manufacturers, fabric houses and leather suppliers to a broad cross section of industry visitors in a show free of imported furniture product.
Networking events and promotional activities will also be held over the two day event, allowing exhibitors to develop relationships with buyers and build up their contact base.
AMCL will also be on hand to discuss the Australian Made logo with local manufacturers.
On Thursday 4 May from 5-8pm, exhibitors and visitors are welcome to an informal drinks and nibbles occasion the highlight of which will be the announcement of the annual ‘Vice Award’. First established in 1993, the Vice Award acknowledges individual recipients each year who have made a long term contribution to the Australian Furniture Industry.
“The exhibition is a great chance for furniture and furnishing manufacturers to show off their genuine Aussie products and demonstrate the benefits of buying locally," Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive, Ian Harrison, said.
