The Australian Made Campaign congratulates the winners of the 55th National Export Awards, announced at a gala dinner at Parliament House, Canberra in November.
Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive, Ian Harrison, presented the Manufacturing Award at the event.
This year the award was presented to Ego Pharmaceuticals, a Victorian-based, family-owned business specialising in the manufacture of dermatological products.
Ego Pharmaceuticals was also named 2017 Australian Exporter of the Year. It exports 120 products to 27 countries.
The awards were hosted by the Hon. Steven Ciobo MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment.
"The Australian Made Campaign congratulates all of the winners on their achievements," Mr Harrison said.
"All of the finalists should also be commended for their efforts."
2017 marks the 18th consecutive year that Australian Made has proudly sponsored the Australian Export Awards; and all associated with the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo are very proud of that.
The Australian Export Awards is a national program that recognises and honours Australian companies engaged in international business who have achieved sustainable growth through innovation and commitment.
The 77 finalists generated $3.9 billion in export sales in 2016-17 and employ more than 30,000 people.
