For the third consecutive year the Australian Made Campaign has worked with the Singapore-based retailer, NTUC FairPrice Cooperative, to run the ‘Wonders of Australia' promotion in FairPrice Finest retail stores in Singapore, featuring the AMAG logo as the central branding.
Australian Made Chief Executive, Ian Harrison, attended the launch function in Bukit Timah along with Senior Executives from NTUC FairPrice, including the Managing Director of Business Groups, Gerry Lee Kian Hup and the Managing Director of Group Purchasing, Tng Ah Yiam.
The 2012 promotion was focused on the extensive range of Australian products in the NTUC FairPrice offering, which ran for three weeks from the 11th to the 26th of October.
Arrangements are now proceeding for NTUC FairPrice and Australian Made to enter into a formal agreement regarding future such promotions, and the ongoing use of the AMAG logo by NTUC FairPrice for its house branded products.
NTUC FairPrice has 102 retail stores and holds more than 55% of the Singapore food and grocery retail market. Such a relationship will provide an exciting opening for Australian products and produce.
