Cheese Biscuits

Looking for a tried and tested lunchbox snack? These cheese and poppy seed biscuits are sure to be a hit with the whole family. One is never enough!

Looking for a tried and tested lunchbox snack? These cheese and poppy seed biscuits are sure to be a hit with the whole family. One is never enough!

Approximately 80 biscuits

 

Ingredients

100g butter, softened

1 1/2 cups (120g) finely  grated parmesan cheese

1 cup plain flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup poppy seeds 

 

Method

  • Combine the butter and cheese in a mixer and cream together
  • Then add flour and salt and mix until combined
  • Roll out into a log
  • Roll the log in the poppy seeds
  • Place log onto a tray and cover
  • Refrigerate for an hour or until firm
  • Cut into approx 5 mm slices
  • Place on baking paper lined trays
  • Bake for about 15 mins at 150 deg
