The Australian Made logo will feature at Sydney Build, the national building and construction industry expo, on 14-15 March 2019, to highlight the importance of choosing Australian-made products.
An Australian-made Mack truck specially ‘wrapped’ in green and gold, will be on display in the Hordern Pavilion to encourage patrons to support local Aussie businesses and manufacturers in the construction industry.
Ben Lazzaro, Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive, said “Australian Made is partnering with Sydney Build to support local industry and shine a light on the many genuine Aussie products in the building and construction sector, such as the impressive Mack earth-moving truck proudly wearing its Australian Made livery.
Australia is renowned for its high standards of manufacturing including quality and safety standards. As a result, building and construction products made here in Australia to our exacting standards and conditions are highly sought after.
We hope to help builders, tradies, specifiers, renovators and DIYers easily identify genuine Aussie products. The Australian Made logo helps buyers recognise genuine Australian products, and provides assurances that the components used to build or renovate have been certified as authentically Australian Made.”
With a number of Australian Made licensees participating, Sydney Build offers a unique platform to network with thousands of senior-level decision makers, buyers and influencers from the building and construction industry.
Free to attend, the expo will feature more than 150 speakers including City of Sydney Chief Operating Officer Kim Woodbury, Lord Mayor of Sydney Clover Moore and Grand Designs Australia’s Peter Maddison.
Come and say ‘hi’ to the Australian Made team on stand 6 and make sure to visit the massive Australian Made Mack!
