This month Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive, Ben Lazzaro, visited The Vintage Football Jumper Co. in Melbourne to officially welcome Australian Made’s newest licensee.
As an official provider of AFL merchandise, The Vintage Football Jumper Company manufactures heritage AFL jumpers, scarves, gloves and beanies from 100% Australian Merino wool.
“It’s great to have The Vintage Football Jumper Co., an Aussie icon, come on-board as a licensee. Sports plays a huge part in Australian lives, so it’s only fitting that the merchandise is made in Australia too.
The Vintage Football Jumper Co. products are made in Australia, from Aussie wool. By purchasing a vintage AFL jumper, you are not only supporting your footy team, you are supporting the local manufacturers and wool farmers behind the brand,” Australian Made Campaign Chief Executive, Ben Lazzaro, said.
Manufacturing in Thomastown, Victoria, The Vintage Football Jumper Company work with Australian shearers, woolgrowers, agents and stud masters to create genuine retro AFL jumpers.
“The Vintage Football Jumper Company is a proud and long time supporter of Australian-based manufacturing.
We are delighted to be accredited by the Australian Made Campaign, and are excited to showcase our authentically Australian AFL merchandise to customers both in Australia and around the world,” said The Vintage Football Jumper Co. Managing Director, Dean Grimster.
